Harcombe, the True Champion!

After being at Clemson for a few months I have concluded that Harcombe has way more to offer then Schilletter. Harcombe located on the West Side of campus, is the main dining hall. Because it is the main dining hall on campus it is open every day of the week compared to Schilletter, which is only open during weekdays. Harcombe has more food lines offering more variety to each meal. This ensures that students don’t get bored of eating and still have something to look forward to at each meal. Personally I look forward to the meals at the home cook food line. They are generally the best and rarely the same. The workers at Harcombe are also much nicer than the ones at Schilletters. They make you feel welcomed when you walk in and seem to care about the food they cook. When talking to a worker at Schilletter I immediately feel that I am nuisance. The one thing that Schilletter has going for it, is the food generally looks pretty good. That is until you taste it. When I eat I don’t care what the food looks like, as long as it tastes good. I can’t tell you the number of times I have tried a dessert at Schilletter and been sadly disappointed. So if you’re looking for a good meal and you want to feel welcomed go to Harcombe. Don’t waste your time at Schilletter.
